El programa de R&R ofrece capacitaciones de Cuidado Informado Sobre el Trauma a los proveedores de cuidado infantil dentro de varios entornos. The Bridge Program – Trauma Informed Care FREE Training

The Childcare R&R program offers Trauma Informed Care training to childcare providers is various setting who serve children in the Foster Care Bridge Program. This 14-hour training series includes four 3.5-hour modules covering topics that include brain development and building resilience. Childcare providers will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how trauma impacts brain development and learn trauma informed strategies that effectively help support children who have experienced trauma.

Below is a listing of the upcoming module.

Module 1: How Trauma Impacts Brain Development This module defines Trauma Informed Care and provides an overview of the impacts of trauma on children’s brain development in the early years, how trauma impacts the sensory system, and how the stress response system activates when experiencing a trauma trigger.
